Sagopa Kajmer has a s gn f cant place n Turk sh rap mus c and
has ach eved many successes throughout h s career. In 2004,
h s album B r Pes m st n Gözyaşları (A Pess m st’s Tears),
released under Hammer Müz k, became a turn ng po nt for h m.
W th th s album, he ga ned w de popular ty. That same year, n
an nterv ew w th Rad kal newspaper, he announced that he
would stop us ng h s stage name "S lahsız Kuvvet" after seven
years and cont nue h s mus c career as "Sagopa Kajmer."

In 2005, he took an ndependent step by found ng h s own
mus c f rm, Melankol a Müz k. In 2006, he released the album
Kaf le w th other art sts from the Kuvvetm ra group and took on
the role of producer. The same year, he also released Pes m st
EP 4 – Kurşun Asker. Between 2006 and 2013, Sagopa
collaborated on many songs w th Kolera and Ceza, creat ng
several successful duets.
