              Wh le the album was st ll mak ng waves, on May 20, 1994, Uzay
           Heparı trag cally passed away  n a motorcycle acc dent after

           crash ng  nto actress Demet Akbağ’s parked car.



              In the summer of 1994, Aksu gave a h ghly popular ser es of
           concert ser es at Rumel  Fortress. Follow ng th s, she completed
           Sertab Erener’s second album, Lâ’l, wh ch was released on
           November 1, 1994, and was ded cated to Uzay Heparı. Del  Kızın
           Türküsü had already h nted at Aksu’s art st c transformat on.
