In the summer of 1996, n memory of
Onno, Aksu released Düş Bahçeler , an
nter m album n wh ch she performed
songs she had or g nally g ven to
other art sts.
On December 22, 1997, Aksu
released her fourteenth stud o album,
Düğün ve Cenaze, wh ch sparked
m xed react ons. W th a c rculat on of
280,000 cop es, t became the lowest-
sell ng Sezen Aksu album at the t me.
The album, named after Goran
Bregov ć's orchestra of the same
name, cons sted of Bregov ć's
compos t ons w th Turk sh lyr cs
penned by Sezen Aksu, Meral Okay,
and Pak ze Barışta.
A year later, at the end of 1998, Aksu
surpr sed those who m ssed her old
songs by releas ng the album Adı
Bende Saklı, f lled w th beaut ful
compos t ons n her class c style.
Rem n scent of the melanchol c and
