From the 2000s onward, Sezen Aksu cont nued to make mus c. In add t on to her
extraord nary vocal performances, she became one of the most nfluent al composers
and lyr c sts n the mus c ndustry. She cont nued her career w th h t albums such as
Del veren, Bahane, and Öptüm, wh le also us ng her art to draw attent on to soc al ssues
and support ng many young mus c ans.
On June 2, 2000, Aksu released her new album Del veren. Th s album ncluded some
of the most well-known songs of the t me, such as Oh Oh, Sarı Odalar, Kahpe Kader, and
Kesk n Bıçak. It sold nearly one m ll on cop es.
