Şarkıları (Songs of Turkey), wh ch brought together the
country's d verse languages and cultures. Dur ng these
concerts, she was accompan ed by Greek Orthodox,
Armen an, and Jew sh cho rs, as well as the D yarbakır
Ch ldren's Cho r. On stage, songs and folk tunes were
performed n Turk sh, Kurd sh, Armen an, and Greek.

Before the summer of 2003 ended, Aksu released
her new album Yaz B tmeden. Th s album conta ned
four new songs, one of wh ch was nstrumental, along
w th prev ously released Sezen Aksu songs that had
been performed by other art sts.

Sezen Aksu's new album Bahane, released n 2005,
rece ved even more attent on than expected.
Released n honor of the 30th ann versary of Aksu’s
career, the album sold 320,000 cop es w th n ts f rst
two weeks. By the end of the year, Bahane became the
best-sell ng album n Turkey for 2005.
